[lang_ie]Ar an tseachtain seo caite, ar Luan 18 Feabhra tháinig meascán eicléictiúil de thallann óige ó Chontae Dhún na nGall – sin Ceoltóirí Chloich Cheannfhaola atá mar bhanna traidisiúnta agus snagcheol ó Micheál agus Conor Murray – tháinig siad lena chéile ar an staid mar aoi-ealaíontóirí don Roinn Oideachais & Scileanna ag an Chomhdháil ar Ról an Oide agus Múinteoir. Bhí an ócáid seo eagraithe mar pháirt d’Uachtaránacht na hÉireann ar an AE (Aontas Eorpach). Bhí na ceoltóirí seo uile ainmnithe ag Comhpháirtíocht Oideachais Cheoil do chuid Coiste Gairmoideachais Contae Dhún na nGall agus bhí an cheolchoirm seo acu os comhair toscairí aitheanta idirnáisiúnta san Ospidéal Ríochta Chill Mhaighneann i mBaile Átha Cliath.

Dúirt Stiúrthóir Music Generation, Ms.Rosaleen Molloy go raibh an-áthas orthu, sin Music Generation féin an deis a fháil bheith ag obair leis an Roinn Oideachais & Scileanna, le Comhpháirtíocht Oideachais Cheoil Dhún na nGall don imeacht seo d’Uachtaránacht an tAontas Eorpach. Tá a lán rudaí bainte amach , a dúirt sí, ag Comhpháirtíocht Oideachais Cheoil DnG ó bunaíodh é i 2005 agus go bhfuil Music Generation ag tógáil ar an tsamhail seo ar fud na tíre.

[lang_en-uk]Last week on Monday 18th February last an eclectic mix of Donegal’s finest young musical talent – Ceoltóirí Chloich Cheannfhaola traditional band and jazz duo Micheál and Conor Murray – took to the stage as guest  artists for the Department of Education and Skills’ Conference on the Role of the Teacher Educator, an event organised as part of Ireland’s EU Presidency.  Nominated by the Donegal VEC Music Education Partnership these worthy musical ambassadors performed to distinguished international delegates at the event at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin.

Director Rosaleen Molloy said that :“Music Generation is delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Department of Education and Skills, and Donegal Music Education Partnership for this EU Presidency event.  The achievements of Donegal MEP since its establishment in 2005 have been significant and Music Generation builds upon its success in rolling out the MEP model throughout the country.”
