We are absolutely delighted to announce that our former learner Joanne McKenna, who earlier this year was one of 87 people globally to receive a 2015-2016 City and Guilds Medal for Excellence, has achieved further recognition by receiving a coveted City and Guilds Lion Award trophy in London this week.

The Lion Awards event, City and Guilds’ most prestigious awards ceremony, acknowledges the best of the best in a range of categories. Joanne received her award for the International Learner of the Year (not in employment) category at the Lion Awards event in Kensington, London yesterday, 15 June. Her Medal for Excellence Award in April was in recognition of her achievements in completing the Software Tester Application programme run in our Training Centre in Ballyraine, Letterkenny. You can read more about this on the City and Guilds website.
