Worked in MLMG McLaughlin McMonigle accounting practice in Buncrana. Whilst there I studied ACCA exams and have completed the fundamental level of ACCA qualification.

Work experience/educational history prior to accounting technician course.

I graduated from LYIT with a degree in Business & Marketing in 2005.

I worked as an Administrative Assistant for 6 months and then as an Accounts Assistant for 3 months between 2005 and 2011.

It was then that I decided that I wanted to develop a career in Accountancy and signed up to study the Accounting Technician Ireland Qualification with FAS in 2011.

Summary description of your experience of accounting technician course.

Qualifying as an Accounting Technician was most definitely the starting point of my whole career and I have never looked back.

It gave me the confidence and knowledge that I needed to further my career.

The Accounting Technicians Ireland qualification gives a very strong foundation in accounting – one that prepares you for all areas of business.
