Autumn Workplace Well-being Programme Starts with National Walking Day

Donegal ETB kicks off its Autumn staff well-being programme with National Walking Day on Sunday 27 September.

Staff are being encouraged to get out and walk whenever and for as long as they want on the day. In order to follow the latest Covid-19 guidelines, everyone is encouraged to #WalkYourTown, #WalkYourArea and find #HiddenGems.

Staff are also encouraged to walk with family, friends, by themselves or with a walking group but to keep numbers of people to a maximum of fifteen.

More information on the day can be found here: https://getirelandwalking.ie/nationalwalkingday2020/

National Walking Day this year is also part of European Week of Sport (23-30 September) which aims to promote sport and physical activity in countries across Europe. More information can be found here: https://www.sportireland.ie/participation/european-week-of-sport/national-walking-day
