The Young Americans are making a return visit to the Abbey Vocational School this coming January. They will arrive on Friday, 29th January to stage a series of performing arts workshops, which culminate in two performances. The Young Americans is a non profit organisation founded in 1962, by Milton C Anderson, are a voice, music, sound and dance company consisting of over 200 talented 17-21 year old college and high school students, 45 of whom will be teaching, singing, dancing and performing to the students in the school.
The workshops will be held over 3 days. The workshop is open to all students in the area and the cost is €60 for all three days, with TY students paying €35 due to their fundrasing events which support the costs.
