Need Help or Advice? 

The Adult Guidance and Information Service offers impartial and confidential information, advice, guidance and counselling on the educational options that are available to you both within Donegal ETB and with other education providers.

The aim of the service is to support you to make the right decisions about returning to education and training and to help you make those decisions within the context of your wider life.

If you are unsure about what course to do or need help in finding out which level is most appropriate for you then please get in touch with us. 

You can complete the message enquiry box and leave us a short message with your query and our Information Officer will arrange a call with you to discuss your enquiry in more detail. Alternatively you can contact the Adult Guidance and Information Service directly on the numbers below or if you are in Letterkenny, drop in during office hours to speak to our Information Officer:

Alternatively, if you are in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance, then your Department of Social Protection Case Officer will be able to refer you to our courses.

Applying for a Course

Applying for a course with Donegal ETB is simple – Choose the course you are interested in our Course Finder, and apply online or get in touch with the appropriate contact person detailed in the Course Finder, they will send out an application form and answer any questions you may have.

Specific Entry Requirements

Donegal ETB offers a wide range of education and training courses each with varying entry criteria. Applicants will be interviewed and be asked to show their understanding of the course, their motivation for applying and their ability to manage the course requirements.

Donegal ETB is aware of the importance of adults choosing the right course and at the right level. If during the interviewing stage we feel that the course is not right for you we will refer you to the Donegal ETB Adult Guidance and Information Service who will help you look at your options.
