[lang_ie]Ar maidin Dé Céadaoin 26 Deireadh Fómhair, roimh Oíche Shamhna, chríochnaigh na mic léinn agus foireann Ionad Aoisigh, Baile na nGallóglach siúlóid urraithe agus gach duine cóirithe i gculaith bhréige. Bhí an tsiúlóid thart ar cheantar Baile na nGallóglach le hairgead a bhailiú do chiste Barda Compord na Leanaí ag Ospidéal Ginearálta Leitir Ceanainn. Tógadh €1,830.00 ina iomláine, agus inné 24 Samhain ghlac Bhanaltra Noreen O’Neill seic don fhigiúr sin ar son Ciste Barda Compord na Leanaí.
Bhí an ghrian ag soilsiú ar an mhaidin sin agus tháinig na 50 duine a ghlac pháirt, slán sábháilte agus tá súil acu nár scanraigh siad muintir na háite nuair a bhí zombaí, caillí agus srl..ag siúl thart. Cuireadh ainm gach duine a thug síntiús isteach i dtarraingt do Chiseán Nollag agus bhí an bua ag Daniel Cullen as Fawninoughan, Baile na nGallóglach.
Ba mhaith le heagraí an tsiúlóid (TFO Rang Feidhmiúchán Ríomhaire) míle buíochas do gach aon duine a chuidigh agus a thug síntiús.[/lang_ie]
[lang_en-uk]On the morning of Wednesday 26th of October the students and staff of the VEC Adult Education Centre Milford completed a sponsored walk in fancy dress around the Milford area to raise funds for the Children’s Ward Comfort fund in Letterkenny General Hospital. The grand total raised was €1830.00. Noreen O’Neill, Staff Nurse, accepted a cheque on behalf of the Children’s Ward Comfort Fund.
With the sun shining down that morning all 50 who participated returned uninjured and they hope people were not too scared of the walking witch’s, zombies ..etc. All those who sponsored were entered into a draw for a Christmas Hamper and the winner was Daniel Cullen, Fawninoughan, Milford.
The organisers of the walk (BTEI Computer Applications Class) would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind donations.[/lang_en-uk]
