[lang_ie]Bhain Laura McFadden, (atá mar dhalta ar Choláiste na Maoile Ruaidhe) an 2ú háit sa Chomórtas a dtugtar “Big Bake-Off” ag ócáid ar an tseachtain seo chaite.  Bhí Laura ar an ghearrliosta mar iomaitheoir agus d’úsáid sí ceann do na hoidis is fearr léi ar an lá – Ciste Seacláide le Faoiste. Mar a deir Laura – “Bhí mé ag gníomhú liom ar mo thionscnamh féin agus ghlac seo tamall fada mé bheith sásta go raibh an cáca chomh maith agus is féidir. Nuair a bhí sin bainte amach agam, mhaisigh mé é ag úsáid mhilseáin seacláide leis an chiste a dhéanamh níos tarraingteach fós agus leis seasamh amach ó na hiomaitheoirí eile”

Bhí an mholtóireacht ar an chomórtas déanta ag Gary O’Hanlon a bhfuil neart bronnta air mar Chef agus atá mar Sheaimpín ar chomórtas Ceilteach Cook-Off le gairid agus atá fós mar phearsa Theilifíse. Bhí an Comórtas Big Bake-Off a bhí Laura ann eagraithe ag Age Action agus urraithe ag Bluebird Care.   Comhghairdeas leat, a Laura.[/lang_ie]

[lang_en-uk]Laura Mc Fadden , Mulroy College, was shortlisted as a finalist in the “Big Bake-Off” and came 2nd in the competition last Thursday evening. Laura made a chocolate fudge cake, as it was one of her favourite recipes. “By using my own initiative, it took a long time to get the cake to perfection. Once I finally mastered it  and it was to my satification, I decorated it using the nicest chocolate sweets to make the cake more attractive looking and make it stand out.”

The competition was judged by Award Winning Chef, TV personality and recent Celtic Cook Off Champion Gary O’Hanlon. The competition was organised by Age Action and  sponsored by Bluebird Care. Well Done, Laura.[/lang_en-uk]
