Tugann an seimineár deis do na grúpaí a bhain tairbhe as tacaíocht ón gClár bualadh le grúpaí eile agus eolas, tuairimí agus dea-chleachtas a roinnt. Tugann an tÉascaitheoir Oideachais Pobail amharc siar dóibh ar imeachtaí na bliana agus na deiseanna atá ar fáil ón gClár . Tá an seimineár seo ar siúl anois le hocht nó naoi de bhlianta agus is imeacht bliantúil é a mbíonn na pobail ag tnúth go mór leis. Bíonn aoichainteoir i láthair le caint spreagúil a thabhairt ó thaobh tábhacht an oideachais agus is cuma cén aois nó seasamh atá ag duine. Daoine a thugann misneach agus a spreagann duine le tabhairt faoi rudaí úra nó an deis a thapú. [lang_en-uk]Each calendar year the Community Education programme of Donegal VEC have a seminar or get together where all the various groups who have benefited over the year have an opportunity to meet and to share ideas, information and best practice. The Community Education Facilitator takes this opportunity to look back over all that has been achieved during the year and again points out the various opportunities that are available from the programme.
The annual seminar has been part of the events programme now for eight or nine years and all the various groups throughout the county look forward to it. A guest speaker is invited along to give a stimulating talk in terms of the importance of education in the community, regardless of the age or position of the learners. People who encourage and motivate people to undertake new things and opportunities. Last year the guest speaker was Mr.John Lonergan, former Director of Mountjoy Prison and this year the Community Activist and Labour member of the House of Lords, Baroness May Blood , MBE was on-hand at the most recent seminar in Letterkenny.[/lang_en-uk]
