Tá Ceolfhoireann Óige Dhún na nGall ag dul ó neart go neart le roinnt bliana anuas – le baill thar trí scór dhuine ar a laghad agus anuraidh bhain siad amach Ard Ghradam leis an ceolsiamsa a rinneadh faoi stiúir Vincent Kennedy agus Little John Nee – An Phrionsa Shona ó Oscar Wilde.

[lang_en-uk]Donegal Youth Orchestra have been invited to perform in the National Concert Hall, Dublin next Saturday 8th February as part of the 19th Festival of Youth Orchestras. There are two sessions on Saturday – the first one at 3 p.m. and the second one at 8.00 p.m. where the Donegal Youth Orchestra will be on stage. Donegal Youth Orchestra, the largest performing group with at least 60 members within the Donegal Music Education Partnership have gone from strength to strength in recent years, culminating in receiving an “Achievement Award ” for their adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s story of The Happy Prince. The Youth Orchestra were guided and directed under Little John Nee and composer Vincent Kennedy.
