Donegal ETB Account Technician Students Excel in National Exams

Donegal ETB have been running Accounting Technician year 1 & 2 programmes on a full time basis for the previous four years in Letterkenny Training Centre, Ballyraine. Recently in the second year exams three students excelled nationally.  Mairead Murray came 11th nationally, Eamonn Kelly came 28th and Barbara Friel obtained full marks in the Integrated Accounting Systems exam. Nationally 1055 students sat the Accounting Technician year 2 exams.

Shaun Purcell Chief Executive of Donegal ETB recently made a presentation to the students to recognise their success in a national examination in which over a thousand students enrolled.

The Accounting Technician qualification is much sought after by employers and all the main professional accounting bodies offer Accounting Technicians significant exemptions from their programmes.

Donegal ETB is enrolling for both year 1 & 2 programmes commencing September 2015.
