Donegal ETB’s Literacy Service Attend President of Ireland Reception for Literacy Awareness Week

On Tuesday evening, 12 September, President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins hosted a reception at Áras an Uachtaráin for adult literacy learners and some of their tutors for Literacy Awareness Week. Donegal ETB was represented by one of our Adult Literacy Organisers (ALO) Georgina Thompson (based in our Finn Valley Adult Education and Training Centre) and Catherine Devlin, a Learner Ambassador. The event was organised in cooperation with the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA).

Adult Literacy is co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014-2020.
