Donegal ETB Induction Day for Forty-Five New Teachers

Our Chief Executive Anne McHugh and Director of Schools Dr Martin Gormley today led induction training for forty-five new teaching staff from across our fifteen post-primary schools.

The day covered a wide range of topics including the organisation’s structure, teacher professionalism, classroom management, HR support, employee assistance, payroll, CPD opportunities from the Donegal Education Centre and Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT), special education needs and a presentation from the Teachers Union of Ireland (TUI).

This is an annual event on Donegal ETB’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) calendar for teachers.
