FET Centre Milford

The Further Education and Training (FET) Centre in Milford is located in the former Vocational School. Learners come from Milford and surrounding areas. The centre provides a range of full-time and part-time courses for learners of all levels from the Milford and surrounding areas in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Most courses are accredited through either Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) or other recognised accrediting bodies such as City and Guilds and industry-specific qualifications. They can take over a number of weeks or up to two years.

Learners can start at a level that acknowledges their existing skills and can avail of a progression pathway which is best suited to them.

The Centre facilitates the delivery of a number of programmes, as detailed below:

Programmes available

  • Adult Literacy
  • Back to Education Initiative (BTEI)
  • Self-Financing (Part-Time/Evening Classes)
  • Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS)

Máire Mhac an tSaoi was “a woman of immense talent and one of our most gifted, creative writers”

🕯Remembering both poets today on the sad news of their passing.

Huge thanks to our post-primary and FET staff for attending the inaugural meeting today of our Professional Learning Network for #Ethos, to support the roll out of @ETBIreland's Patrons Framework on Ethos, led by our Ethos Coordinator Eamonn Ryan.
