Crana College

Mission Statement: It is our mission to create a calm, caring and creative environment where all pupils are given the best opportunities to develop their potential to the full, to acquire knowledge and to adopt a positive attitude towards work, life and their community.  

We hope and encourage that everyone in Crana College, work to the best of their ability at home and in school, show respect for themselves and others, care for the school and community environment, show consideration for the health and safety of themselves and others. We seek to inspire every student to learn, to think, to care and to achieve.

Crana College is a co-educational progressive DEIS school with approximately 560 students.  We have invested heavily in ICT as a tool to support student learning, where students use a range of devices and platforms to enhance learning experiences.  We are a pilot school for DES short course Coding and continue to develop this area within our school.

The school meets the needs of the local community by offering the following range of programmes:

⭐️Congratulations ⭐️ to Jack McLaughlin who came 1st in the Young Technologist Competition and to Jonathan Ferguson who came 2nd in the Young Engineer Competition at the Regional ETTA Conference. They will both recieve a National award at the ETTA Conference in November. so.


Well done to all our students who took part in The Donegal Enterprise ETB day in the LYIT.
The students took part in a Dragon Den style activity. Thanks to Ms. Aine Gallagher for supervising. ⭐️👍
