Mission Statement: We pride ourselves on the personal and individual attention given to each student and value the partnership with parents in achieving this goal.

‘Magh Éne’ is derived from the old Irish words for ‘welcome’ and ‘level land’ ie plain of hospitality reflecting our open door approach.

Magh Éne College was established in 1992 and caters for the needs of students in the south Donegal, north Leitrim and north Sligo areas. The staff at Magh Éne College pride themselves in offering a progressive academic curriculum as well as an extensive range of extra and co-curricular activities which promote the holistic development of our students.

Boys U15 Football Training starts this Monday after school. The next block of training sessions will be taken by past-pupil and current Donegal senior player Jamie Brennan. The first round of the Ulster championship takes place in the week starting Feb 10th.#WeAreDonegalETB

On Mon, 20th January, Magh Ene College TY students opened their AIB Build A Bank ‘Sea Savings’. The Build A Bank team consists of Amy Ryan, Bank Manager, Ciara Fox Ass. Manager, Ellen Connolly, Paul Duffy, Nicole Gallagher and Hannah Gilbride. #WeAreDonegalETB


TY Science students in Magh Ene College took part in a very interesting workshop delivered by Aine & Lisa from the SEAI today. The workshop addressed the topics of climate change and sustainability. Thanks to Mrs Vallely who organised this workshop. #WeAreDonegalETB
