Tagann ‘Magh Éne’ ó na focail Shean-Ghaeilge ar ‘fáilte’ agus ‘talamh mín’ .i. ‘magh fáilteachais’, rud a léiríonn an meon s’againn maidir le hoideachas .i. go bhfuil fáilte roimh chách.  

Bunaíodh Coláiste Mhagh Éne sa bhliain 1992 agus freastalaíonn sé ar riachtanais na ndaltaí sna ceantair seo a leanas: deisceart Dhún na nGall, tuaisceart Liatroma agus tuaisceart Shligigh. Tá an fhoireann ag Coláiste Mhagh Éne bródúil as an dóigh a gcuireann siad curaclam acadúil forásach ar fáil mar aon le réimse leathan de gníomhaíochtaí seach-churaclaim agus comhchuraclaim a chuireann forbairt iomlánaíoch ár gcuid daltaí chun cinn.

Our 5th and 6th LCVP students had a great visit to local business Waterworld as part of their Enterprise Education. A big thanks to the manager Aine for facilitating our visit. #WeAreDonegalETB

Our Third Year students enjoyed a trip to Tayto Park today. Thanks to Mr O'Neill, Mr Garvin and Mrs Smyth who accompanied the students. Great fun was had by all! #WeAreDonegalETB

Congratulations to Orla Gilligan who came out victorious in the TY Slow Bike Race 22! Orla defeated Roisin Wilkie in a tense final! The races were organised by TY students Matthew Good and Dary Cassidy who did a fantastic job. #WeAreDonegalETB

Our LC students visited the Higher Options Exhibition in the RDS Dublin today. Students gathered information on 3rd Level Courses, Apprenticeships, Grants etc. This proved to be a very informative day for the students to help them with their future career plans. #WeAreDonegalETB

Our TY students enjoyed a climb up Knocknarea today. The students then went on a historical walking tour of Sligo town. Thanks to Mr Reilly, Mr Fitzgerald and Mrs Smith who accompanied the students today. A great time was had by all!! #WeAreDonegalETB
