Mulroy College

Mission Statement: Our college is a community where staff, parents and students support each other; an effective college results from productive teamwork; “Ni neart go chur le cheile”.

Mulroy College is situated just outside the town of Milford.  We offer an extensive range of subjects, sports and cultural opportunities allowing students to develop a great diversity of talents within a caring environment. Our extra-curricular activities are as important to us as the academics. In Gaelic football, Soccer, Rugby, Athletics and performances in the Arts and Music our students have done us all proud.

We push our students to aim high in their academic achievement and in their extracurricular activities. Mulroy College engages with the community at many levels and throughout the year we run programmes to bring an inclusive aspect to the education we provide. Academically we have progressed from vocational education to a comprehensive and inclusive structure providing all subjects, programmes and opportunities to all learners.

The school meets the needs of the local community by offering the following range of programmes:

  • Junior Certificate (JC)
  • Transition Year (TY)

Our Transition Year students attended a Bike Workshop in Milford Hall with Eugene from GrassRoutes Cycles 🚲The TYs were reminded about Bike Safety and some basic maintenance, before practising a variety of manoeuvres, some more challenging than others! Many thanks to Eugene🚲
